The TRUE Initiative — Trauma Rehabilitation for Ukraine — was created to develop a person-centered and resilient rehabilitation system in Ukraine, ensuring timely access to quality rehabilitation services and recovery for everyone who needs them.
TRUE is a logical continuation and expansion of the War Trauma Rehabilitation in Ukraine initiative, launched in June 2022 by the Charitable Foundation “Patients of Ukraine” with the support of Switzerland.
TRUE focuses both on addressing the challenges of war and on building a sustainable post-war rehabilitation system, with a strong emphasis on developing national expertise.
